Contract Renewed
Well, I officially have this job until the 31st of March. In January I'll be applying for the esteemed position of 'Systems Engineer' (because some annoying guy somewhere in the restructure plan decided we shouldn't be called Systems Administrators anymore... bleh).
The Director of ITD gave me a bit of a wink/nudge that because I'm young and I'm a girl I have an excellent chance of getting the job. I think they're afraid of the Systems team being a boys club.
I dunno, should I feel bad about my gender giving me an advantage here?
