(no subject)
1. Got Portal 2 for the PC on the cheap. And by that I mean regular price 50 dolla, I paid less than 30 dolla due to an awesome GSTL, an awesome coworker, and employee discounts. Still installing; will play later.
2. CANNOT FIND PASSPORT. If I cannot find tomorrow, then I'm getting a new one. IF I FIND IT AFTER I HAVE PAID oh well peace of mind still DX
3. Brought up to both parents the Netbook replacement more strongly, pointing out accidental damage coverage via Target as well as how it'd be a lot more useful than roaming data in Canada. Dad seems open, Mom had said to talk to Dad, Dad will speak with her. So far the tentative 'pay' on my side is keeping my room clean, with my added condition being that I can convert/clean part of the bonus room in to an indoor crafting area. That will...take some work, but it's nicer working in than the garage.
I still am kind of peeved that I don't get one for free RAH RAH IT WAS A GIFT MOM BROKE IT RAH RAH, but. I should keep my room clean anyway, all things considered, so this isn't so much skin off my back as SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING THIS ALREADY HERP.
4. Speaking of that, got some fun time crit from my team lead today. I REALLY NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL. He's pretty good in that while he's hard on me to do it, he does it in a nicer way than a few other team leads could have. I told him up front I was more peeved at myself for missing the things he pointed out, than him pointing it out to me.
5. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I WON FIVE BUCKS IN A BET WITH HIM. I drew a doodle of the Target dog on our accessory sheet, he made a comment about "oh, Spot's here", I'm all "what no it's Bullseye" and we argued and finally shook on a five dolla bet. And then I pulled out my phone (with his approval) to look it up and point it to him, he WTF'd, we used the Target Mobile computer, he went in the back and spent five minutes looking it up I guess. About three minutes in I looked at the TM guy and was all, "you think he's still looking it up?" "nah, he's probably doing work" "i guess, oh hi coworker" "so what're you gonna do with your five bucks" "...omg is he still looking it up" "yep" AND LOLS WERE HAD. Good natured ones, at least.
Probably not gonna cash in on it, though. I prefer teasing rights!
6. OH GOD ONE MONTH TIL BOTCON MUST FINISH STAMPY FFFF I KNEW I WAS GONNA PROCRASTINATE THE HELL OUT OF THIS. I've got the legwraps done, hoping to get the chestpiece done this week, and HOPEFULLY the crotch. I seriously need to push it. My main concerns are the helm, the rabbithead, and the back...FOR THE LATTER THOUGH I am considering converting a backpack in to it. Would make storage easy at least! :U
On a CnC note Vector is so ronery at Autobase now. :C EVERYBODY LEAVE HIM WITH THE ANIMALS. NGL, I'm kind of really bummed that the Botcast has shrunk down so much. I joined partially because it was so big, and now it seems that it's down to half. Those left are Decepticons and awesome, but god I would love someone he could really 'get' with like a Primax Prime; G1 Roddy, non-IDW, could be adorable. And then I get in to wanting ALL THE PRIMES, ALL OF THEM, and then ALL THE MEGATRONS-!
(AND IN CASE ANYONE WHO WAS PLAYING AND THEN DROPPED WAS WONDERING NO I NOT MAD. I just miss you. <3 BUT ILU ANYWAY. those still here DO NOT LEAVE MEEEEE)
