These scents fill my head with stories. Who knew?

I suppose, though, they say that scent is one of the strongest memory triggers.

This after my tax preparer smelled just like my (deceased) aunt when I was in her office yesterday.

What scents evoke for you? What stories do you associate with them?

Strange, strange, half-charmed, half-cursed week. Every lunchtime this week interrupted for one errand or appointment or another.

And the past couple days, any mention of storms has made me smile. I like it: it's like code. Meaning-making only meaningful to one in the discussion, and another not even present. Charmed.

I realize now that the argument about whose atomic clock kept the correct time was ridiculous.

Still, I really should get more sleep.
