New York was a lot of fun. I'm completely exhausted. It was about as scorchingly hot up there as it was in Pittsburgh. Descending into the subway stations was like entering saunas. The reading went well, although there was no AC. We saw a building on fire right around the corner before the reading. I ate a lot of great food and drank a bunch of iced coffee. I went to two museums, the MOMA (where I saw super famous paintings) and the Rubin (where we met a very enthusiastic docent who explained a lot of the Buddhist imagery to us). We went to see Ozomatli play in Prospect Park.
I came home in time to catch the last half of the 3rd place World Cup match. I also got a nice letter from someone in Wales.
