The hat band show went off pretty well--- the band in this picture had "fake blood" as their requirement and therefore wrote some pretty great songs about vampires. This round of hat band made me excited to be in regular bands more than anything. My rock band will re-form later in March with a new bass player, and the noise band should start up a little sooner than that.
Currently I'm on my way west for family stuff. When I get back into town I'll have two new housemates. Oh, and speaking of the house, did I mention that I fixed the furnace? I'm pretty excited about that because it was a feat of problem-solving. Also, I was able to buy the part I needed even though I'm not a contractor I think mainly because I told the salty dog at the unmarked parts store that I had already tested the limit switch for continuity with a multitester and so the problem was most likely a faulty hot surface ignitor (which it was).
