When Cashews Attack

This was my entry for the Pittsburgh Vegan Dessert Fest. After much deliberations, I won "Best Lightly Sweet Dessert" which probably means I should've use sweeter chocolate. I thought I did pretty good on presentation though. The event was packed, and there were soooooo many great desserts. I ate way too much sugar and am feeling the effects of it now.
Mostly I hung out with Mary Mack (letterpress printer and winner of "Best Chocolate Dessert") and Deanna (professional vegan baker extraordinaire). The prize I won was a $5 gift certificate at Oh Yeah coffeeshop that features vegan ice cream. (thearagorn, maybe we can go there when you're in town.)
