this new hot snakes album is weird, but incredible. i get to see them in 9 days. sweet deal. i got paid today. i don't want to go to class tonight. i just want to enjoy autumn, because it rules. i want to be in a band sooo bad. preferably the sunshine will.

i just thought you might find it interesting that a band called fear before the march of flames (you wouldnt like them, but thats beside the point) have a new album called art damage, not artnoisedamage but interestingly close. hope all is well. take care.

Uncle Jemima is going to apply for a grant from our school, and with the money we'd request i;m hopefully going to by some nice recording hardware. that means drum tracks. can you somehow send me a demo of that song we wrote for the last show cause it would be fun to record that.

how would you guys feel about coming down to NC to record? my winter break is from december 12 to january 11, and i'm going out of the country with my parents for about 10 days somewhere in there (i think from christmas day to new years). but the recording situation is pretty easy here, especially cause there's this room in the basement of my parents' house that LOB recorded in and it's huge and has no echo. also, my band has a house on campus that we can practice in pretty much 24 hours a day. my parents house is huge so there's plenty of room to stay and live, PLUS home-cooked food = save money. durham, chapel hill, raleigh: all fine places. Maybe we can get some shows down here too. think about it.

when you're done having sex with your parents, we're going to north carolina.

also, dom is doing this compilation of bands, and he wants to master the demo we already have (songs 2 and 7) and then put out whatever we record over break. any takers?
