Emmett ripped the newborn vampires head off, rage clouding his vision red, before running over to him. He had to make sure he was safe first. With the utmost care Emmett scooped Jacob’s bare, broken body into his arms. His hands were shaking as he softly touched the tan cheek. A soft groan of pain escaped Jacob's lips and if Emmett had a heart it would have been breaking.
“ Carlisle” he yelled, but his father was already next to him. Emmett looked at him with pleading eyes “ please”, he didn’t even try to stop the tremor in his voice “ help him”.
