Squall again
I *tried* to draw Squall in a style that seems popular in People's Republic of China. I don't know what to call it, though. Here's an amazing example. Damn it looks so good! Manga-ish in very realistic coloring.
Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea of how to achieve that kind of result, mine looks really dull... T-T
Coloring is one of the greatest obstacles to me - the other ones I'm aware of (so far) being anatomy, environment, gesture, portrait, storytelling, angles... Agh! Let's just say I have SO much to learn. I hope I'll get the hang of these someday...
So, enough rambling ^^" Finishing this drawing took almost all day. For this piece I took a different approach to draw fur, which consumed a lot of time.
