Can't lick my monitor, can't lick my monitor. Foooot! Feeeaatherrs! Wow, hey, monochrome! No color except for Jon's face/hands and the lights. Nobody should rock black and white that well, damn you Jim Caviezel, if Reese is an angel, what would Finch be? left foot! Hand curl! feathers! Finch would be a ghost, jawline nngh! Nose!
Ahem. I probably should not have stayed up all night. :D Lovely work, although it doesn't seem quite as detailed as your usual but that's probably the misbehaving cable and it works for the piece so.... What color duct tape are you using? Sister found some lovely with a lace pattern!
And I'm sorry to critique, but the right hand thing is kinda freaking me out. His fingers look too short, like they're missing the third phalanges on his middle and ring fingers. This shouldn't bother me as much as it does, because I have family missing parts of fingers, but it does. Gonna hafta put an icon over that. John! Wanna hold my iSilo icon?!
Good lord, I need to go to bed. Good lord... good Caviesus? Um, bed, now, yes.

If Reese is an angel... Not sure what Finch would be. Maybe a prophet? or a priest... haha xD
Oh yes I do like details, though these quickies are like lazy WIPs I'll never finish ;p
And I recently read an artist's interview, they said something along this line (not exact words): drawing a lot of details is just a way of coping for a very poor layout. It stabbed me right in the heart LOL, I never think much of layouts. Have to try layouts too sometime xD
The duct tape I used is a clear one, as in this country there aren't many alternatives and the clear tape is the most common one :p
And I'm sorry to critique...
Please don't be sorry to, I'm honored that people actually spent the time to do so! Your critics are quite true and well delivered, they don't offend nor belittling :) I'm just sorry this is just a random doodle that I don't care too much about, and I probably won't spend more time on it. But I'll try to fix the fingers, I should've used some references ^^;

No, seriously, I did get a nap. Complete with cat and comfy blanket. Bestest kind. Apologies about the comment; under the right circumstances, I will babble like a brook. :D
The lack of detail serves to bring the focus to Reese- and I noticed you weren't stingy on the details with the wings. I see barbs and spines! And honestly, Reese himself is so monochrome and the suit fits well enough that there really aren't many details to add on him. I like the texture on the gargoyle, and it's chain! Both look like they'd be cold and rough to the touch.
My only real critique are those two fingers.
Finch could be a technomancer! There's no servers in the library, well, some, but it's Finch doing the work. He talks to computers and can hack electronic security like no one's business. ::pokes keypad:: "I'm in, Mr. Reese."
Or, he's a computer program himself, with the ability to manifest a corporeal body. Didn't get the body quite right, hence the limp, and the template he used had a fused neck.
Also, this looks great on my Nook. :]
Aaand I just got the idea Reese is one of Lucifer's followers who changed his mind and is caught on earth because he doesn't belong in heaven (yet) and he doesn't want to belong in hell. He saved someone's life and it felt good, reminding him of what he had been and so he saved people here and there until Finch offered him a job. Reese knows what Finch is but not why.
I may wind up writing this.... or at least expanding the outline. :p

Not really. But he'll take limb off if he thinks you're messing with Finch.
This world will likely be influenced by SPN, because my Buffy days were long time ago, and, really, who doesn't want the possibility of Team Free Will and Company popping up? And Crowley. Can't forget Crowley!
