'Bond' CG Process

Jan 21, 2011 16:05

I managed to document my CG drawing steps in drawing "Bond", a Dean/Cas fan art ^^
It was quite tiring. Doing this while drawing something simultaneously made me lose my patience much sooner than usual( ̄へ ̄)

So here it is, the drawing process. It's a bit large, and pardon my English (;´ρ`)

This is fascinating. I'm trying to make the terrifying leap into digital colouring, and this is very useful.

I think blending scares me the most (well, if you don't count just picking colours). But I'll never know if I don't try!

You should totally post this to spnartsupport ::hint:: ::hint::

Thank you! I'm so glad this can be useful for you ^^

You draw so frequently! (^∇^) ♥ I strongly urge you to just jump into digital coloring. I too, worried about coloring/shading when I tried going digital for the first time. But as it turned out, Photoshop has the Godly features to make things work (tweak ugly colors, etc)! That software makes our lives so much easier, so there's nothing to worry about ^^ Go and try it! Yay!

Oh right thanks for reminding me about it! I'll go post this over there XD

Yeah, I kinda have a twitchy trigger finger. But pencil is easy.

I've been poking around at colouring with Gimp, and it's been...educational. Makes me even more in awe of you proficient digital painters.
