man, if someone would have told me in 2004 that pretty much all of the people in my life at that point would want nothing to do with me in 2014 i have no idea how i would have reacted... but it's happened so gradually that i didn't even notice everyone slipping out from beneath my nose. one of the pitfalls of time and age is that friends get married, move away, and slowly fade into the background. people disappear as if they never existed.
