Shoe Typhoon
I illustrated a bunch of shoes in ink and watercolor a few days ago. It was the first time in a long time I'd had a moment to myself to quietly watch The Walking Dead and doodle. Work has been madness, so a moment of cuddling with ink and splashy child-paint was very calming. Here are my painted foot-darlings:
I would love to be a fashion illustrator. It's on my long list of possible things I could imagine myself doing professionally someday, other than my current job. I'd also like to try my hand at children's book illustration, CD art (dying breed!), band poster designs, comics, Pixar concept art, and letterpress work. Outside of design, I wouldn't mind being a librarian, gallery curator, sea lion trainer, dog walker, novelist, makeup artist, or photojournalist.
Anyway, don't know how much time I will have for the next few days, so please take your time and verrrrrrrrry slowwwwwwly examine each of these shoe pairs until I return.
