Mount Everest has shrunk.
I'm not really a news-watching person. Or a paper-reader. But I found this at YourDailyAwesome.com. Apparently Mt. Everest was shaved in 2005 and it's "head" has been touring art museums. How wack is that? You can see pictures [ here ]. God must not be angry...yet. :b
In other news, to quote Mansfield Park, Life seems to be a quick succession of busy nothings. I'm waiting for Fall Break so I can skidaddle away from here. I've had a couple weekend breaks, but nothing more than 60 miles away. Oy. It would be nice to change the scenery and the smells.
I'm getting tired of my office assistant job. They want me to come in on Friday at 8 AM. I said I would. I'm kicking myself now. Although, I don't have a good reason why I shouldn't come in. The tasks there are mainly bitch work. I'm tired of being pawned off to the computer-retarded faculty. Seriously, either they can't figure what the hell they're doing, or they're just "too busy" to get a task done. Whatever. When I was hired they said that I would be treated like an equal. HAHAHA. But a job is a job, and this one is pretty cushy. I wish I were working in the art division though.
