Back yard blues
I am sitting in my house surrounded by too much sound. When we moved into this house two years ago we vowed we would someday take out the concrete back yard and put in some landscaping. This is someday. Yesterday they started in with jack hammers and picks and that went on all day. The came at 8 am today and are jack hammering out the rest. The noise is bad enough but I went out the front door to set the garbage out and my whole house filled with dust or smoke or something so now to add to the racket of the jack hammer I have my Rainbow vacuum cleaner, that sounds like a jet engine, screaming away in my living room, cleaning the dirt and smoke out of my house. To top all of this I have a sinus infection and a hacking cough. Can it get worse. Oh yes! They just cut my cable and the repair guy can't come until tomorrow. No TV. No internet.
