Contact Info: Squiddlypeon
Other Characters: Mordecai Heller, GLaDOS

Name:  6
From: 9
Appearance:

Age: Probably only a few months or years old, but his voice is of a young man. Mentally he’s… all over the place
Gender: Male
Personality: 6 is, in the words of the director and creator, the ‘insane artist’ of the movie. He doesn’t fit in, no matter where he goes, and has a great deal of trouble just trying to be a part of the group. He’s shy, quiet, and tends to keep to himself a lot, though this doesn’t make him unfriendly. Rather, he’s just adorably, if painfully awkward socially. He is terrible with trying to talk, and on the rare occasions that he does, ends up speaking in riddles, though he honestly does not mean to. Though he isn’t the best with social interaction, he dislikes being left alone as well, and has never known a moment without being with his family.
He honestly tries to be helpful, but unless his visions are somehow understood by someone other than himself, he just tends to come off as completely insane and childlike. He has a certain amount of innocence about him, and is more of a follower than a leader, lacking really any kind of confidence or assertiveness, and is easily frightened or startled. After all, you would be a little on the nervous side too if you were only six inches tall, and not particularly strong for a six inch tall person to boot. Despite seeming rather childish, he IS mentally an adult, and he’s not an idiot either, aware of how to protect himself to an extent, and possessing a sense of responsibility for the others he is with. Hence his constant attempts to explain his visions and the need to draw them. 6 does not become easily frustrated when people don’t understand him. He’s used to it by now. All he can do is repeat himself and hope that someone will understand what he means.
He’s exceptionally empathetic and reads the emotions of others really well. It honestly bothers him when his friends and family are upset, and just as easily he’s made happy again just as long as they are. He has a very even temper, and is more likely to become afraid rather than angry when faced with someone who is angry themselves, and tends to deal with mockery and rejection by simply taking himself someplace else to draw.
6 also possesses a great deal of curiosity for the world around him, and delights in art in all its forms, enjoying music, drawing, paintings, and other displays of art. Drawing really is his best way to communicate his feelings and thoughts, as he is so poor at putting them to words, so it really only makes sense that he’d enjoy it so much.

Backstory: 6 was one of the nine dolls (lovingly called stitch-punks by the director and the fans) made by a scientist at the end of his life. He literally put a piece of his soul into each doll, imbuing them with a part of his own self and psyche. 6 received the man’s artistic nature, and was sent out into the destroyed world to join the other five that had been created before him.
6 was always seen as the outsider in the group, never really finding a place among them or indeed even in the world he was put in to. Dismissed as insane by 1, he was still put under his protection, left to draw strange symbols on the scraps of paper he could find, and speak nonsense about “the source”.
When 9 was finally released to join the group, he was the only one to pay 6’s words and drawings any mind, realizing that the strange stuttering doll knew something the others did not. Through the help of the others and 6’s drawings, they manage to slowly figure out just how they were created, and just who made them… and why he would do so. Many die along this trip, and unfortunately, 6 was one of them. 6 seemed to be aware of his own death, as he did not flee the Fabrication Machine, but instead ran back to it, to tell the others not to kill it, as it housed the souls of their friends somewhere inside it. He didn’t fight as the machine grabbed him, and didn’t panic, instead using what little time he had left to try and tell the others that still lived where to go.
6 will be arriving shortly before his death however, a few minutes before the Fabrication Machine comes after them.

Moral Standing: Good. Goodly goody goodness. There’s no ambiguity about this, 6 is just naturally a good sort of guy. Weird and hermity, but still good.
Dreams: Just to be safe with his family, really. To help them figure out where they all came from and try to get along. He’s not very good at it.
Fears: Losing his family, being alone, anything bigger than him, The Fabrication Machine
Extra: 6 is capable of seeing the future and the past of certain people and places. He can’t really say what he’s seeing, so he ends up drawing it. … This does not make his visions any less confusing.
His fingers are ink pen nibs.
6 does not see things the way others see them. He sees things that others do not see, like the souls of his friends trapped inside the Fabrication Machine. It can be assumed that he is capable of seeing other beings and objects along those lines, either straddling or existing within two planes at once or simply meant to be invisible.
