[The sound of scribbling quills against paper starts up.

Odd though, the screen is on, but nothing is moving. Instead, what appears to be paper is draped over the lens of the camera on the communicator. The picture, though spattered somewhat, was still lovingly rendered.

That barn bares a striking resemblance to the one on are farm...

Are you thinking about seeing a farm one day, Six?

[His head pops into the screen again... well, part of it, more like peeking from the side a bit.]

... Farm?

[... Doesn't seem like he knows what that is really. He knows the picture though!]

[A pause... and he shakes his head. Nnnnope!]

No? Hmm... well a farm is where a family raises livestock and grows grain, fruit and vegetables.

We have a peach orchard and a windmill too on our farm. But the barn, like the one in your picture, is where the horses and cows stay. The horses are strong and help us plow the fields and the cows give us fresh milk.

It'd be nice if we could travel easily between worlds. I could show you my family's farm.

... Live.... stock. Live stock. [Yes, he's totally putting a space between the words.

He pauses for a moment, and then turns his back, doodling something quickly.

And when he turns back... What the hell, 6? It's a picture of a strawberry]

Peach?

[Doesn't know what that is. Knows it's a fruit! That's about it]

Nope, that's a strawberry! But we grow those too. They grow on small plants, close to the ground and we pick them in summer.

A peach is a bit bigger, it grows on a tree and it has a soft, fuzzy exterior and an orange and red colouring. I planted a peach tree in a pot. I'll show you what one looks like one day.

[A fuzzy fruit? He looked to the strawberry, cocking his head]

... Hair... On it? [He rubs the top of his head, mussing the yarn on top a bit]

Well, not hair exactly. Just a fuzzy skin. It feels a bit like very fine velvet.

I think the hair protects it from drying out in the sun. It's a marvelous fruit, really.

[Never heard of velvet either. He stares at the camera, before rubbing his arm a bit.

Well, she had said the fuzz protects it from getting dried out... and his cloth has fuzz.

So he won't get dried out? Well yay!]

You like plants, right? Maybe you should go up to the greenhouse. You could probably learn about all sorts of plants there.

[Right then! He'll be looking for a green house!]

Red? And green? There are many, yes?

[Totally talking about plant colors!]

I bet there are. It's a glass structure, on top of the high school. I've been twice to get some vegetables.

And there are many more colours than just red and green. You'll see pinks, and blues, yellows and oranges.

.... Clear. Not green? Not Greenhouse. [Right. Look for the not greenhouse]

Ah... so many... [He looks to his hands... AAAA ONLY BLACK WHY]

It'll look green from a distance though, with all the plants growing in it.

You know, you can make coloured inks and pigments from some plants.

Colors... [He draws a single, black line down one of the paper scraps... He's never had colors before.]
