You float like a feather in a beautiful world.

There are only two weeks of school left, and I become increasingly busy everyday. I have two essays to write, a drawing project to draw, a sculpture to assemble, a video to edit, and I decided to be in a group show with my class. We have one week to finish the entire mural, starting yesterday. Which reminds me, if anyone will be in the New York City area, our show opens May 6 and runs for two weeks. It's at the old Tower Books on 4th Street and Lafayette. The entire undergraduate and graduate art department is in the show. I still don't have an idea for my piece, at all. Not even the beginning of an idea. I'm so screwed. I don't like that once the two weeks are over they are painting over all of the artwork. Then NYU is most likely turning the building into a storage space for a few years.

NYU is buying every fucking building they can get their hands on. One of the worst parts: they are buying CBGBs. That's right, one of the places where the original New York hardcore and punk scenes started is being bought by New York University. I realize the place wasn't what it used to be, but I'm still somewhat angry because now someone else can't buy it and at least make an attempt to bring it back to its old status. They're probably going to turn it into a storage space for at least a few years. I can't concieve what they would build in there.

This is going to be such a busy week. I'm already not looking forward to it.

I never thought I would say it, but I am looking forward to coming home. I want to go fishing so badly. Does anybody want to go fishing with me? Anyone? I want to play frisbee too. Does anybody want to play frisbee with me? Anyone?

It will be good to see old friends; and the stars. I haven't seen the stars in so long. No, the Olsen twins don't count. They'll never be as beautiful as a starlit sky. There are only a few women who can claim that honor, and those two are not among them.

And Aimee DuPont never calls me. I think she hates me.
