The Latest stuff going on...
Hey guys, I know I haven't been updating as well as I should. I never really do, I always find myself being too busy or I'm just not in the mood to keep things posted.
If you guys haven't heard, I'm not working at the Groton Post Office. I've been there for about a month now and It's going really well.
I got to work every morning monday-saturday at 6:30 a.m. I get out around 12:30 the latest, and sometimes I have to work afternoons which run from 2-2:30 until 5:30p.m. Needless to say, I come home and I'm exhausted! At the moment I'm working as a casual clerk which means that I get to sort mail, packages, and take care of other duties around the floor. It's pretty much a very repetitive job, but it's easy and I love the people there so it's a nice change of pace from Brooks Pharmacy. I'm still working at Brooks, but instead of being a full time cashier, I'm now a seasonal/temp. cashier which basically means that I don't work enough hours to be listed as a part-time cashier. I'll be mainly working on Sundays and maybe a few nights every now and then. As far as the babysitting...well, I haven't been watching the kids at all. The last time I watched them was before Christmas so I need to talk to Tracy and find out if she needs me anymore for satudays, because if she doesn't I may end up telling my boss from Brooks that I can work saturday nights. I may just want to keep my saturday nights open though, I haven't really made up my mind on that so we'll just have to wait and see.
I have some exciting news...Last friday night I went on my very first blind date. Infact is was my very first date I've ever been on. So I was a bit nervous, but my nerves went away when i finally met the guy (his name is Danny) and we decided to go play pool so we had a lot of fun and just got to talking...alot! we left the pool hall and went back to his place and sat and talked in the car for about 2 hours! it was crazy,but i really enjoyed his company and I found it very easy to talk to him...which if you guys know me at all, you'll know that i find it incredibly hard to talk to guys...i don't know why, i get so nervous around them. Anyway, we'll be going out again tomorrow night and I'm not sure what we'll be doing (hopefully dinner) but i just can't wait to hang out with him again. So i'll try and keep you guys updated with that.
well you crazy kats...i think i've typed pleanty for now. I'll try and do better as far as the updating and I'll talk to you all later! Peace out!
