Now we know that dust sets off the fire alarm... for the whole floor three floors.
We're having an AC unit put in in our server room. This means big men lurking around my office, and big equipment being flung around. Meanwhile, I had a server lose a power supply (unrelated to the big men in the server room). The server rack, mind you, is in the back of the server room... behind the big men and big equipment. Meanwhile, the dust they've kicked up above the celing tiles has set off the fire alarm for the entire 15th floor three floors. The fire department has several trucks parked in front of our building. Current evacuation count is unknown, but the building engineer is unamused.
