Subject: Julie Andrews
Prompt: Angst
# of Pictures: 25
Innocent Bystanders: Omar Shariff, Paul Newman
If you think putting together a Julie Andrews angst picspam was easy... you're mistaken. I focused on her movies and there were a lot left I still could have included. But since the limit is 25, I just refused to part with these pictures under the cut. Maybe I'll do a second part when we have old prompts week at some point. :)
THE TAMARIND SEED
01. Looking preoccupied.
02. Boys suck.
03. Pretty worried.
04. While Julie's angst-ing, Omar takes the opportunity to check out her assets. Dirty man that one is.
05. Angsty-kiss. Or Kissy-angst.
06. Man, she means serious business.
07. It's so awful to see her like this. It breaks your heart, but she's brilliant.
DARLING LILI
08. Okay this is angst, but I laughed through this whole scene. Lili is as adorably idiotic as awesome.
09. She's so gorgeous even when upset. I'm envious!
10. Awww.
11. =(
12. If I'm not mistaken, this was the scene where her husband (=the director) thought it would be a good idea to scare the crap out of his wife for the sake of her performance. He successfully achieved that she froze and blew it all. *pats Blake Edwards*
13. Whistling away the dark...
TORN CURTAIN
14. She was so mad/disappointed she stayed mum during the whole car ride. Paul Newman is evidently aware of that.
15. Serious angst going on with a fitting set up. Great job, Mr. Hitchcock.
16. Ooops, someone just got told off.
17. This is Paul Newman's doing. But he's forgiven cause he's sexy.
18. Tense moment... overshadowed by their beauty. Seriously, they were damn hot together.
19. Without wanting to take away the dramatic value of the scene, I actually think this must have been fun to shoot.
THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY
20. Depressed!
21.Crazy awesome break-up-in-the-rain scene (
that I've spammed before. Beware of spoilers)
MORE MOVIE ANGST
22. Having a meltdown in Star!
23. Hiding from the Nazis in the Sound Of Music.
24. The 1930's Paris in Victor/Victoria wasn't any easier on Julie either.
25. Don't give me that look! Whoever says they didn't feel sad when Mary Poppins left has no heart. I felt angst, okay?! :p
