I'm in freaking ENGLAND!!!
Well yes, at long last, I've managed to find an internet cafe and time to post. We're in Oxford right now and today we toured Gloucester Cathedral, Lacock Abbey, and New College (where the incredible bouncing ferret scene was filmed, among others). Tomorrow we fly up to Scotland, where we'll be visiting Fort William and Edinburgh. Woo!!!
We spent our first couple of days in London, of course, where we visited several of the required tourist sites as well as Harry Potter locations. Yesterday involved a leisurely walk through Black Park which has been used as parts of the Forbidden Forest, the Black Lake, and the areas around Hagrid's hut. We also toured Christchurch College at Oxford, and even trotted briefly through the courtyard of the Bodleian Library, although we didn't go inside (no worries, Glenn and I are touring it just before Accio starts next week.
Anyways, just a quick and dirty update before we head off to the Highlands. I've already taken one entire memory card full of pictures, but don't have the wherewithal to upload them here. Hopefully I'll be able to get at another computer sometime soon!
