Whitewater rafting! RAWK!!! *foams at mouth* Sorry... I just really like whitewater rafting, though I've only done it twice in my life. And the second time gave me a concussion when I spiked my head off of a rock. Woohoo!
Great pics! When pretty girls post pics, I will never complain. =)
Thanks a lot, Mac! ;) White water rafting was a blast. I'm the only one smiling. LOL. The others seem to be working to hard. I've always thought the face of the guy on the farthest right is really funny. He looks like he's screaming or just bursting with effort! LOL.
Haha. I just remember something. I think that picture was taken just before we were about to hit a rock and nearly flipped. I remember the photographer was on the rock when we hit it, so he was right in our faces. Caught it all on video. LOL. Not sure though. It just might explain why he looks scared. I wish I could remember which rapid it was. =\ Might have been the class 5 we rafted, which would make it even scarier. LOL. Anyways, fun stuff. Do you know if kayaking whitewater is much harder than rafting?
I can only imagine kayaking is harder. Keeping balance in a kayak is a constant thing - working out your torso the whole time. And that's just in calm water. I can only imagine it being infinitely harder in rapids.
It's weird. A lot of my friends are metrophiles... they can't get enough of big city life. I, on the other hand, point out things like your picture at Senecca Rocks, and say "How can you like cities better than that?" Then they argue about culture and some such crap while I point at rural scenery like above and say (with a grunt), "*snort* *grunt* But so shiny! *grunt*"
