Listening to Sky's The Limit makes me all nostaligic. Not in a bad way. Makes me want to go on a road trip to a wafflehouse in dinwiddie, virginia. or. anywhere else for that matter. I go to the eye doctor today. This means I will be able to see correctly very soon. And that is exciting.
In other news, David is awesome. We went to NOVA last night and the car ride was great. We haven't gone on a "road trip" (if you can count 2 hours a road trip) in a long time. We talked about random things and it was like it was when we first started dating. Except in a better car. I love David.
It was fantastic going to Va Beach yesterday. I played Rumikube with my mom (and beat her twice!) and we ate lunch and then mom, james, and myself went to the beach for a couple hours. It was awesome. Beach = Amazing. I determined that I cannot have children until David and I are wealthy enough to buy a beach house because I think it's important for kids to grow up with access to a beach. Or rather, I think it would be fun. Not necessarily important. Anyway I told my mom that and she said, "You can't get a beach house before I get a beach house!" hahahaha. She was serious, too. Then she thought about it and said, "Well, I guess you could and then I could just visit you there." She's silly.
Anyway. I'm trying to update my LJ more often so people stop yelling at me. Apparently you can't stop signing on AIM and stop updating your LJ at the same time. It's just rude. I haven't talked via IM in months. If you're missing our AIM conversations, there's this new invention called a phone that actually allows you to talk to someone far away and HEAR THEIR VOICE! It's CRAZY! 804.212.4965
