Ahhh, Francescu. Hmm. Complications goes here.

Francescu has helped him alot. Washed his clothes, gave him psychological aid, all that. Jak has met people with strange powers before, as his homeworld had Sages who could use the power of Eco to do a lot of different things. But Francescu appears to be able to do a little bit of everything they could, while still being a not-fogey old fart. This means cool points to Jak. He appears to know a whole lot about powers and how they work, and above all: he is so damn modest about it. Like it's an everyday thing. To Jak, who is basically completely alone in being able to manipulate the kinds of Eco he can do, this feels both good and bad; boog because he feels like he has someone to talk to about his powers who is acceisble and genreally cool, a go-to guy, a role Jak has shouldered his entire life.

There is also slightly bad here, however. Jak is still just a teensy bit wary of Francescu, because to him his powers are still an issue. That he revealed his powers not out of his own choice but because he was basically busted has made him feel like they're in a very businesslike relationship. Francescu has said he'll keep quiet about the whole affair, and he seems nice enough, but Jak is wary by nature.

He'll come to Francescus aid if anything weird shows up, partly because he wants to make Francescu somewhat indebted to him as well. Like I said, he sees Francescu as one of the most powerful people at camp. Both for good, and for bad. All in all, if they just remain cool with eachother, he'll probably consider him as a friend. But for the moment, it's kind of an iffy business/mutual interest deal.
