Wow. My second post in about a month. I'm a strange little boy.

Anyhow. First meme time! Be gentle~

Oh who am I kidding it's camp. What do you Jak think of you crazy peoples? Ask and ye shall receive. Though not immidieately.

Only the first two would be correct.

Now then. Lu Xun. A nice, somewhat modest femmy looking guy. Not the kind he usually finds himself surrounded by. Kid seems nice enough, a bookish kinda guy that may come in handy one of these days. Jak doesn't really think about him that much else.

Now Ying on the other hand.
Jak grew up an orphan. This he did because he was actually from 500 years in the future, and he had been sent back in time to train himself in using Eco so that he could fight the evil aliens in the future which was his real present. Anyhow, he trained. And then he travelled back to the future, and beat the evil aliens. then, because people are dicks, he got exiled into the desert to die, whereupon he was promptly discovered by a tribe of nomads whose king took him in after putting him through several lethal trials. He and this leader grew quite close, since he acted as somewhat of a father figure, and attempted to temper Jak's somewhat unstable personality and show him how to take control of one's life and go your own way and all that jazz.

Then he got killed and, whoops, it turned out he was Jak's ACTUAL father. Go figure. Jak didn't like that. And Ying? Is practically his father reincarnated. She is wise, she speaks in this wordy yet still simple manner, and just about generally gives out "mentor/parent" vibes. Jak likes Ying. A lot. He would most likely go to her for stuff concerning his attitude and general life lessons one can learn in camp. Also, I don't know if this has been noticed, but he tends to act a little bit smarter than he actually is around Ying. Be a little bit more wordy and all that. Ying good, simply put.

If he ever met the other two, he'd think Da was nice but a little airheaded, and Light would be a member of Across and just a touch to creepy for his taste because of it. A nice guy like that, willingly joining something like Across spell bad news for Jak's huge ears.
