this weekend was the shiznit! elyse, me, and mikey m. went up to tallahassee friday night. we get there and E.Mas's coming out party is just beginning. But it's not an offical trip to tally-ho until i've gone out and bought booze for underagers. So e.mas and i went to this drive thru liquer store (that's right...drive thru) and get some more everclear for the hunch punch. btw, i discovered that i love hunch punch ;-) so we get back and the party is starting to get awesome. we even have name tags that say if you're gay or straight, ? or fag hag or drunk or ANYTHING. not that orientation really mattered; gay guys were making out with gay guys, gay guys were making out with straight women, straight women were making out with straight men. there was a little bit of everything as the night progressed. later Armondo (e.mas's very cute boyfriend) explained to me that sometimes gay guys just love making out with women...which i still don't get. anyway, after one cup of hunch punch i was wrecked...so i have another. and then my memory gets blurry. but here's one thing i definitely remember. i was on the front porch area (anna lives on the second floor, btw) with eric p., elyse, mikey, and some other people and suddenly we hear this loud splash. we look over and mikey has thrown up over the balcony! not just once, but like 3 times and the velocity of that shit must've been crazy bc it sounded super loud when it hit the floor. thus making Mikey "THAT GUY" ; the one that throws up publicly at a party. and what happens? "THAT GUY" goes home with a chick! the best part was eric p. complaining about how "that guy" got laid. haha, it was soooooo funny! after mikey pukes (or before it, like i said my memory is fuzzy) i see Armondo carrying E.Mas up the stairs (so cute!) bc E.Mas has drunk himself into a stupor. Not only that, but when Anna was trying to help him throw it all up, he somehow fell on some bar that was sticking up and cut his forehead. I helped out a little by being puke-bucket-girl pretty much until e.mas passed out. Then i ended up on the couch and then it was 4:30am and then i finally fell asleep. that party was soooooo crazy they even announced on a radio station there. INSANE.
the rest of the weekend was waaaay calmer. we saw Blades of Glory, which was soooo funny! and anna and i drove julie to jacksonville (or J-Actionville, as Mr. Gushanas would say) so she could catch her flight back to boca. then me, elyse, and mikey left. it was a sad good-bye, as it always is. we LOVE it up in tallahassee. and it was a bit sadder bc e.mas is moving to san fran. maybe denise and i will see him when we drive out there in the summer. but as always, i had a blast seeing anna and everyone else. and i fell in LOVE with laura's cat, Gatsby.
