'summer's end anxiety'. doesn't have to be caused by summer but just 'long breaks of relaxation' in general. It's hard to change lazy habits; oh how i know.

if you want to excercise, one of the best ways to go about it is offered by our dear friend, delphianlore (the dood with the shirtless man icon.)Although outdoor biking is a good aerobic excercise to frequent.. if your doing it properly. With the many people in eugene who ride bikes for transportation, it's amazing to see how many of them have poor posture or inncorect adjustments/techniques.

Best option is an athletic club of some sort, but if thats a no-go, and no bike, you could do the running thing. High inpact sports are hard on the knees tho... if you do run, keep to soft surfaces (grass, dirt, barkamulcheee, etc.) Treadmills are a great way to start up running; they absorb a'lotta shock.

of course, if you feel the need for scenery, walking can be surprisingly rewarding. U know, a quiet stroll through a park. To elevate your heart rate you could even try powerwalks/fast walkin (but again about the technique).

personally, i find 30 - 45 min, spread out between a treadmil, bike, and EFX (crosstrainer) followed by (an hour or so of) resistance training, to be the most rewarding. but... it all depends on what your eating, doesn't it.

(apparently how the english describe weight) 15 stones = 200 lbs-ish
