I've risen to a new height of immaturity. Friday, I was at a conference, and when a bunch of the people (mostly in suits) went out for a cigarette break, I went outside and noticed a slide nearby. This was no ordinary slide--it was really tall and wide, adult-sized. So of course, in my nice dress, in front of all the other people at the Historic Preservation conference, I slid down the slide. It was fun. People looked at me with shock and awe as I brushed the mulch off and went back into the convention center.

Wednesday, I'm giving a lecture on contemporary American farm animal portraiture. I really need to select the images that I'm gonna use.

Yesterday, I spent $28 on a light purple Jem and the Holograms 1986 tshirt. Also at Urban, I bought a watering can shaped like a duck and a set of bar glasses with cute skunks and chipmunks on them. (I did win $100 for the rodents, so that was how I was able to actually buy non-food items for myself.)

A childhood nostalgia vanity purchase, some photos of cows, and some mulch up my jumper--sometimes I feel rather dull.
