Starfire sword and custom scabbard

OK, This sword is going up non E-bay soonish. I picked it up from e-bay a while back. It is a modified 30" starfire light sword. By modified I mean the person who owned it before me took a 32" starfire light sword and cut 2" off the tip and rounded the end. This breaks the Starfire warrenty. When I got it, the handle was two pieces of wood epoxied onto the steel tang. I opened the box took the sword out and the handles fell off.

I took the pieces of wood, drilled 3 holes through the tang (again further voiding the starfire warrenty) and pinned the handles on with epoxy and 10 penny nailed used as the pins. I then took leather and wrapped ever the wood handle and epoxy and you can see from the picture what the end result looks like.

The scabbard is a custom design made by me. The wood is pine, it has been stained with a dark walnut and has several coats of polyutrathane on it. The leather work on the scabbard is glued to the wood. The clips allow you to remove the scabbard from the frog if needed.

If you are interested, make me an offer I should not refuse, otherwise it will be hitting e-bay sometime next week. I will be at The Wicked Winter Faire this wekeend, my S.O. will be wearing a similar desinged scabbard if you have any questions and want to take a look. SHe will be playing "Mad Meg" and I will be playing "Stephan De Flur" if you would like to find one of us.

Here is a pic:
