Sorry about this not being behind a cut... could not figure out how to get the pictures loaded and behind a cut... Damn LJ for not being easier for those of us who are Computer challenged.
Better pictures to come , these were quick ones done just to update tonight. The new coat of stain and paint were still a bit tacky.
For those who don't know what it is, I made a replica (non firing) of Zoe's sidearm from the firefly television series. This is not the sidearm she carried in the movie
"Serenity." This is also a similar gun that Steve McQueen used in his T.V. series as a old west bounty hunter Josh Randal.
The action of the lever, hammer and trigger all work like the real McCoy, however, the gun does not work, the barrel is solid, and there is no fire mechanism. It is though made from all steel and wood parts (except for the PVC I added today.)
Anyways, enjoy the pictures. Would love to hear back comments on what you think.
