It works!
I just tried the muffin-in-a-mug experiment, and it works! I think next time will not 'bake' them for so long, though. So maybe that means it'll only take a minute? Wow. And the batter (and filling) didn't actually take that long either.
So, I'm into my overdraft. This is not fun. Especially with the prospect of three lots of rent going out (not including bills or food) before the loans (hopefully) kick in again. Might even have to dip into what little savings I've tried to put aside. I hate debt. I've seen it wreck so many people.
I've managed to write another couple of EoF short stories - one around Song, Yokun and Close, the remaining roamers, and another around when Rhea, aged nine, finds out what she is. Today finished a Circle of Fate snippet of the revamped version of Tael & Vel's experience on the Island of Love (yes it sounds cheesy, but it ain't), which I'm much happier with. Vel's not such a docile pushover, Tael shows some vulnerability, the romance isn't so black-and-white, we get to know the goddess (Ceca) a bit better. If only we SoulCandy trio would actually get going and write the damn chapters!
Jaz'll be back soon, with Max. We're having stirfry for dinner. I really need to meet up with Justin, like I said I would.
