So, my little brother graduated from high school yesterday, and that's amazing. But--even though he barely made it into high school and then turned around and was class salutatorian and delivered a really fucking awesome speech (that he wrote the night before and morning of)--this isn't about him. It's about one of his friends.
Shawn graduated yesterday, and he was crying when he walked across that stage, and that's because he's the first person in three generations of his family to graduate high school. And I'm sure that's not unusual for my brother's school. It's about a half-step up from those ~inner city~ high schools you see in inspirational movies. The valedictorian has a three-year-old daughter. But Shawn's only goal was to get past freshman year and not drop out like his dad did, and then get past sophomore year and not drop out like his mother and grandmother, and djfkalesf I'm just really proud of him, okay.

Less sappy:
The Reverse Racebending thing is also racist and it's stupid and you're all racist stupid poopyheads; or, "Why? Because I believe that racebending white character to another race is just as bad as racebending non-white characters to another race?"
Hahah you're doing it wrong, asshole.
