You never realize how hard it is to type with an overly-affectionate, molest-ey cat in your lap until IT HAPPENS.

...oh Francis, you kitty slut. xD

Anyway, recently my priorities have been getting the NashiCon webpage running, going to work, and finishing plushie commissions. I finished work (for the moment) on the website a couple of days ago, and I've had a while off from work, so I've been mostly procrastinating. Today, however, I actually accomplished quite a bit. I've got one of my commissions at the 90% mark (just have to add hair, a face, and stitch the head to the body and the hat to the head and I'm done), and the other I got up to about 60% done. I'm mostly down to just details and actually stitching everything tot he body on that one. I'll post pictures when I'm done!

But since I've been making plushies all day, that means I've been hand-sewing all day, which is boring, to put it lightly. So I've been keeping myself entertained by watching lots of random crap. Of course, sometimes (okay, a lot of times) I get distracted and end up watching more than I sew, but...oh well. xD I'm now about 10 episodes in to both Pandora Hearts (anime) and Shinkenger (tokusatsu), and will be starting on 8 of Bloody Monday (j-drama). I also FINALLY got to watch the ROOKIES movie yesterday!

So the ending of the Rookies movie made me want to bawl like a little kid. xD But I mean, even the tough jerkass Shinjo was tearing up at the end! How could I NOT?! That movie was basically two something hours of AWESOME, totally worth the wait (considering it came out in theatres in MAY). By the end all of the characters had grown on me far more than I thought was possible. And...I had NO IDEA that Kouhei Takeda was in this movie! 8D I have to admit, I like him better with longer hair, but this movie made me think that the short hair isn't...ATROCIOUS at least. xD I still like him better with his Otoya haircut, definitely.

Pandora Hearts is actually turning out to be a really interesting anime! I wasn't all that interested in it originally (am I ever, though?), but I randomly picked up the first volume in a bookstore near my work, read the first three or four chapters, and was like "okay, must find anime. NOW." I haven't found anyone I want to cosplay yet (though Echo is tempting me...dammit!), though Alice is pretty cool. I think that Bloody Monday is affecting how I'm watching other shows, though, because I am INSANELY suspicious of everybody in this one. And this anime certainly knows how to turn on the creep factor, geesh! The manga wasn't NEARLY as bad!

Bloody Monday is...akjwuerhlfsdhj. I don't think it's normal (or healthy) that I'm questioning and suspicious of EVERY CHARACTER with the exception of two - Fujimaru (the MAIN character) and Otoya (played by Sato Takeru). And the only reason I'm not suspicious of Otoya is because I know he's not with the terrorists because someone spoiled that for me. But everybody else! I'm even suspicious of HARUKA. I feel bad about suspecting a few of them, though - namely Kano, Kirishima and Minami. And TAT I CRIED SO HARD FOR KIRISHIMA when his fiancee died! THIS SERIES! T___T

...well, the themesong is cool. And as much as I hate the suspense, I love it at the same time. xD

And as for Shinkenger...I am now BOUND and DETERMINED to catch up with Japan before the final episode airs! And as for my thoughts on Shinkenger, I think I'll have to do an episode-by-episode breakdown! xD

Ep 1: The second time I watched it, it wasn't so bad. Not amazing or anything..
Ep 2: Still not amazing...and Shinken-Oh looks so retarded, there's a good reason I don't watch mecha battles in sentai...
Ep 3: Okay, so I like Chiaki more than I already did. This series is starting to impress me.
Ep 4: Not as awesome as the last episode...
Ep 5: Oh god. Takeru. Is. So. MOÉ! *commence flailing* OKAY, I'M NOW HOOKED. (fyi: it was the scene where Jii was reminding Takeru of how he used to want to go to amusement parks and got freaked out by all the rides, and how embarrassed Takeru looked when Jii said all that stuff. ADFSKJLADFS)
Ep 6: Okay, I like Kotoha a bit more. I can sort of...see myself in her. DX
Ep 7: The most entertaining part of this episode was the DecaDriver at the verrry beginning going "Kajiki no Fishing! Kajiki no Fighting!" in that doofy-sounding voice. xD And also...the swordfish Shinken-Oh looks...so...retarded! This isn't making me like the mecha battles any more than I already did. I seriously just ignore them and sew most of the time...is that bad?
Ep 8: I believe my exact words were "RYUUNOSUKE?! OH GOD, WHAT THE HELL, WHY?" ...oh crossdressing. xD And also, Dayuu is a pretty awesome villain, and Jyuuzo looks pretty interesting, too!
Ep 9: As if the "but they would never fight against eachother!" before the opening song wasn't completely transparent foreshadowing. xD Ryuunosuke was kind of adorable with his whole "I COULD HAVE KILLED TONO-SAMA I AM ASHAMED" routine, but Takeru going "I'm sorry" was just GAH *fangirl heart asplode*. Also, Jyuuzo has NO RIGHT to be that hot when he's a creepy-ass looking Ayakashi normally *more flailing*

life, i'm such a fangirl, flailing, plushies, rookies, live-action, dorama
