(no subject)
So yesterday was a pretty good day. I got up and quite literally made this in the span of about an hour and a half:
It was a Christmas gift fordealunae1630, since she was leaving town, and I apparently work best with a rapidly approaching deadline...
Yugi and I trolled around town waiting for zip to get out of work, I bought a few things, etc. etc. Overall it was a pretty good day. When we got back to the apartment I got down to business and made some progress on a commission:
All in all, lots of progress made. Then the internet went out for a while, which was of course annoying, and to make matters even worse, the dumbass downstairs neighbors decided that was the perfect time to play music with bass so loud it hurt my feet to have them on the floor. The carpeted floor. But as annoyed as I was, I just decided to grin and bear it, and when my frustration got to the point where I needed to vent I fired up DDR. But before I could get started on a song, zip went downstairs and asked them very nicely to turn down the music.
...oh well. But I just continued with the plushie and tried to fend off an incoming bout of insomnia, failed, and went to bed around 4am.
Today I woke up ready to tackle a few Christmas projects and even start preparing for my next to commissions...but the internet was down.
Again.
Why the hell do we pay over $66 per month for internet if it's always down? It's really getting to the point where I want to complain to them that I shouldn't have to pay for services that aren't being provided to me all of the time. Seriously!
And that was the start of a bad day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I got a lot of stuff done, and it's only 4pm anyway... but argh. Since I had to work in silence I started thinking about pretty much everything, and of course when I start thinking about 80% of it is stuff that either depresses me or worries me, or both. I'd rant here, but I'd have to friends-lock the entry if I did, because I have this feeling some of the stuff I'd say would cause some drama...
