Also, this isn't an Otakon post. I KNOW, RITE?
So I'm free for FOUR WHOLE DAYS starting tomorrow. I don't think I've gotten four days straight in a row off from work since I started working, so it's going to be nice. And probably go by waaaaay too fast.
Anyway, work has been interesting. The other day I totally cut fabric for a guy that looked like Onizuka from the live-action GTO. Except older. But this did confirm my inherent soft-spot for asian guys, no matter the age. xD
Also I'm apparently friendly, cheerful and very helpful. This is news to me, but that's been said about me by customers on several different occasions, so it must be true.
I've also been swiping empty fabric bolts from work. It's not like they're not gonna just get thrown away or recycled anyway. I'll be busy tomorrow rolling fabric onto said bolts in a sad attempt to get my immense piles of fabric into some semblance of order. Yeah.
Also I'm about 100% sure that Soul Eater has screwed up my aesthetics. A year ago I wouldn't be thinking that every single jack-o-lantern I had to unwrap and put on the 'fall' display at work was, in my own words, "frigging adorable". But they are frigging adorable. Also I had a fangirl moment when I pulled a bunch of really nice statuettes of Native Americans out of one of the boxes today. What can I say? HERITAGE <3
Also looking forward to the pool tomorrow. JUST PLEASE DON'T RAIN, OKAY, WEATHER?!
I'm a little afraid to see how many days are left before AWA. NOT ENOUGH, THAT'S FOR SURE. I've changed by tenative AWA cosplay plans around quite a bit, I've dropped some costumes and moved some to the "maybe" status or the "depends on blahblahblah" status.

-Spartoi!Tsubaki (Soul Eater)
-Kintaros (Kamen Rider Den-O)
Maybes:
-Ling (Fullmetal Alchemist): depends on if my RanFan is still up for being RanFan (or even going to AWA)
-Ace (ACParadise): depends on if ACP will even BE there
-Kiyal (Gurren Lagann): depends on if I have my Kinon with me (and how much space I need in my suitcase)
-Meirin (Kuroshitsuji)
My plans for Katsucon haven't changed much at all, though:
