Progress Report
1. All grading and teacherly duties are finished. Only orientation sessions to go.
2. All boxes of books and things being shipped are in storage and only need to be weighed to estimate how broke I am.
3. Waiting to hear back on a credit check for an apartment. We're 90% sure we'll get it, but that number goes down with every day we don't talk to the guy by about 10%.
4. Still no power. No hope for power before we move. It's all good. We're mooching one light off a neighbor and it's so very, very nice.
5. After cleaning what remains in the space yesterday, even the cats are doing better. That's very nice. Vomit patrol in the dark is a terrible, terrible process.
6. I got a rejection from one of the schools where I applied! They wasted paper on me!
