Disappointed too

I didn't get picked in the TC 10 Miler lottery. That sucks. My friend did and she's pissed because no one else got in. I told her I would train with her. She already has a weight trainer but I think we might join a run club or get a run trainer.

Thats sucky. I was bummed for days when I didnt get the marathon.

I think running clubs and/or trainers are very, very good ideas.

She's had a trainer for years but not specifically for running. I am kind of stuck right now and I workout better with other people or someone pushing me so a trainer will help that. We have a couple great run clubs in town too. I think most of them are in marathon training mode right now though.

Maybe you could find someone who might not enter the marathon. Have them give you their packet.

I just found out another buddy of mine got in. But he might not run so he said he'd give me his registration if he decides not to.
