Paradox of Icy Proportions

So I'm very confused. I thought it was spring. And yet there's seven inches of snow on my front lawn. I am having a super huge w-t-f moment. Seriously, is this the winter that will never end? It takes forever to start, and spends most of the winter being cold without actually producing any snow, and then when it's finally supposed to be spring and start warming up, it triples the entire winter's snow production in a single day.

I am most displeased.
