I Feel Like Artie Van Winkle Today...
Last night when I fell asleep it was March... When I woke up this morning and looked outside, it was December!
So yesterday it was nice and warm, I was tempted to start dragging my shorts and capris out of the back of my wardrobe, and I even broke out a pair of my summer flats as I enjoyed sitting outside in the nice spring weather. Then this morning I get up, and when I looked out the window it was snowing. Gah! We had nearly two inches by noon (a lot, considering I live in a desert.) It's now almost seven o'clock in the evening and it's still snowing. My freshly-painted, flipflop-ready toenails are extremely depressed. :( I thought it was supposed to be springtime!
In other news though, discovered today that kissing in the snow - tres romantique! Even if it is cold. I still have never kissed in the rain, but I'm thinking that kissing in a soft snowstorm is a pretty nice substitute.
