Rober Heinlein apparently once said something brilliant about writing science fiction for young readers. According the the reviewer who mentions it, "Robert Heinlein once said that his juvenile SF was so good because he wrote the best possible novel for adults he could and then left out the sex."
If anyone knows this exact quote, I'd love to get the full thing.
