Anthrocon Photos, Otakon Thoughts
Anthrocon photos are here. I really need to take more photos at cons, as I tell myself every year. But then I don't. Such a crappy collection of photos, that is.
Anyway, getting back into the swing of real life after all the fun that was AC. On the way home, Matt and I were discussing how much Otakon is going to suck this year just because there's no way it'll be as fun as AC was. But you can't really compare the two... Yesterday I was actually considering just not doing Otakon this year for that reason, and the fact that it's going to cost me about $350 just for the hotel for the weekend (That's only my share for the 3 night stay, missed the con rate, and it's only being split 3 ways). I really planned poorly for Otakon this year since i didn't decide until real late that I wanted to go. But I really hope I'll be able to meet up with the people I do know who are going, and that we can hang out a little at least. Even though I'm not staying with any friends. ^_^;
I've been considering changing my username on LiveJournal, but I dunno if I should. Everyone knows me as Artie or Artie_P or Artemis Prower, or artieprow on various messaging and chat services. so the 'artail' name is kind of condfusing if it's just someone looking for Artie. I also found some people I know have friended the actual LJ user artie, probably thinking it's me. Let me tell you now, that user is NOT me. :) I've been considering the following usernames, what do people think?

- artieprow
- artie_prower
- just stick with 'artail'
I'm not sure what I'll do. I'll be using a rename token if I do anything though, so you all will automatically see my new username in place of my old one if I change it. And this LJ username will automatically forward to my new one. But I don't know if I'll even change it yet.. just considering it.
