Being social can actually be fun! WHO KNEW!
So lately its rare that I even get out of my pjs on the weekend, but yesterday I got all spiffied up and went with jroc_723 to dihedra's wedding. It was very nice, and she looked lovely, even though it was so muggy yesterday and hot, she still looked radiant! Oh to be such a beautiful bride!
And it gave me a chance to spend lots of time with jroc_723 while he was home for this quick trip. Such a dashing date he makes! haha.
It was a little weird to see people from high school, especially being anonymous Jen, the girl no one remembers. hahaha. But I had a great time chatting outside with Matt and his wife Jen. And then darthoprah and frontdesk arrived and it was nice to meet/chat with them, and have some laughs. And I was happy to know that Shaun remembered me from high school! Redemption for being asked if I was jroc_723's wife, girlfriend all day! Heard alot about people I have not even thought about in years! It's hard to believe its been 10 years. I think we all agreed that none of us would appear at a high school reunion if our lives depended on it.
Then today I headed out for lunch with Shannon, who was in town from New Brunswick for the weekend. Got all caught up on her news.
And now its Sunday afternoon... and its the first time I've had to lay on the couch! Oh how I missed my couch!
