Supernatural and XMFC alike are both such HUGE fandoms omg.
And the XMFC kinkmeme is just pure gold. I've never seen a kinkmeme quite like it tbh.

GOD, YES, EXACTLY. And now that I’ve become aware of that idea, it always kind of kills me when it happens in fanfiction too, because it’s just so utterly offhand. I think it’s part of the reason Charles is for educating humans and hoping, as opposed to wiping them out - because it’s not an all-or-nothing thing for him; humanity may not accept what he can do, but neither do mutants. Add that to the fact this is something that will be reaffirmed every day of his life and it kind of seriously sucks to be Charles Xavier.
