I really hate humidity.
Heat I can handle. I don't like it much, but I can handle it. I've always said that when it's too cold, you can always put more clothes on. But when it's too hot, there's a point beyond which you just can't go. But whatever. Heat is easy to deal with, really.
But humidity is something that I really don't like.
Even if it's not particularly hot, when it gets humid I start getting uncomfortable. I start sweating on the insides of my elbows and the backs of my knees. Also under my arms and in my nethries. And that gets really uncomfortable, and fast. Furthermore, when I sweat I have a tendency to become stinky, and that's not pleasant either for me or for anyone around me. I'm told that when I'm stinky I smell like a male possum. Oddly enough, I don't consider that a complement.
This is why air conditioning is so good. Even if it's not actually cooling all that much, it dehumidifies, and that to me is good.
