I didnt give them any information, and all they had to start with was my phone number and name BUT they did a very convincing job of sounding like a phone company billing department calling to help straighten out an account issue... they dodged and weaved like a well trained boxer when it came to getting them to give BACK any info.. like an account number .. but they did it well enough I'm pretty sure theyre going to get most folks.. so.. its fraud, and its over the phone.. and it came on a 'private' number.. how and where does one report this sort of thing? or is it just something that even after a decade the authorities havent caught up to or dont care about?
