Lived through it again...
I just moved back into my dorm after being evacuated AGAIN! I can't believe that 3 weeks almost to the hour, another hurricane hits within a mile of the last one. It's just sick. I did however, have a much better time this hurricane than the last one. Instead of going back home, something I simply could not do again so soon, I stayed with a friend who I absolutely love. We stayed up all night conquering the world, ie; playing Risk, and forgetting the storm was even there. This morning we walked on the beach, I mean ocean, there is no more beach, and got soaked.
Coming back was good though, and I even wrote my essay for acting that is due tomorrow, so I am actually ahead of the game. That's new for me, so I'm a little excited. And later, once I find a friend with a screwdriver, I am going to put my new cute license plate on my car.
Friday night was so much fun. We had a pre-hurricane party at this great bar in lake worth. It was also my friends going away party, I'm going to miss him so much. Matt was adorable, and had a really good time, I'm happy for him. Francine finally got to do something she has been wanting to do for a year, so that was cool. Zach had a good time, and wants to back, and then he and I stayed awake and watched "This is Spinaltap", a really interesting movie about a fake rock band, until it was time to leave the campus and go to Zach's.
I really wish I could tell what someone was thinking. Not full mind reading abilities, there's just this one friend of mine, and it would make things so much easier if I could know what he was thinking. 'Cause we're not saying anything important to each other out loud. But then I guess that would take the fun out of it. It is fun right? Yes, yes, and it'll all work out eventually.
