Once, his voice thick, he asks why.
Sagramore breaks off, lifts his head to look at Galahad, and smiles. It's a smile as fine as the grained stone folds of Mary's robes in the chapel, and he rests his hand on Galahad's chest, a very light touch, and then bends and kisses there.
"I wanted you to bless me."
He's too thin; Galahad touches his side. He's heard it said Sagramore has a sickness.
"For sinning?"
"It's a very beautiful sin."
He wants to disapprove, but he's as guilty, and Sagramore's lips are at his throat.
"I'll pray," he whispers.
