"It's a used offer. Mordred's already had you a hundred times."
"Can't you share something you want?"
"I have to share everything," Agravain says sullenly, and Sagramore rolls his bright eyes heavenward. He's learned sarcasm this past year with Mordred; he's no longer blunderingly, sweetly earnest, which makes Agravain even angrier--if anyone deserves some innocence to corrupt, it's him.
"Christ Jesu!" and Sagramore takes hold of his chin in one strong hand and kisses him firmly, until every part of him is tensed and painful, not just the one. "You're lucky my heart is generous."
