(no subject)
Had a pretty nice week. Went to St. Augustine with Destiny for our 1 year anniversary. Very nice. and as it turns out, this is the longest continuous relationship either one of us has been in. Had fun exploring the city and wandering around museums. =). It would seem I've been traveling alot lately and I don't really know what it's all been within the past 2 weeks. Drove 1000+ miles to Arab, Alabama [pronounced A-rab], then drove 160 miles to St. Augustine and back, twice, in 4 days. Oh well, it's given me time to read some pretty cool books, from which I've actually learned something:
First Rule - "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe its true, or because they are afraid it might be true."
Second Rule - "...that the greatest harm can result from the best intentions."
Third Rule - "Passion rules reason."
Fourth Rule- "there...[is] magic in sincere forgiveness. Magic to heal. In [sincere] forgiveness you grant, and more so in the [sincere] forgiveness you receive."
Pretty intriguing.
We've also had time to visit some friends currently attending their respective band camps, to which I say good luck, have fun, and enjoy it while it lasts; you probably won't believe it, but people can actually miss those hellish weeks of work and music. Well, I need to sleep to help get ready for my band camp so...
